Nayan Anand
Data Scientist
About Me
Hey, my name is Nayan Anand and I'm a data enthusiast! I believe humans are creatures of habit which makes them act in recognisable patterns. Understanding these patterns and predicting their behaviour is where my interest lies. I find the idea of not just creating business value for a company but solving problems to create an impact in peoples’ lives very fascinating.

I graduated Masters in Information Systems from Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland in December 2019. With more than a year of experience in leveraging analytics to provide actionable insights across multiple verticals such as supply chain, e-commerce, banking, and healthcare, my aim has been to encourage data-driven decision making, to identify any possible areas for further investigation and find better ways to investigate.

When not working on projects or exploring new techniques, I love watching reruns of Star Trek TNG (which initially inspired me to pursue a career in analytics), playing video games, writing short stories, playing with dogs, and eating & cooking different cuisines from around the world.
